2-years modernization of DH networks

In 2019-2020, the pandemic caused material and logistics price instability resulting in volatile valve prices. Stockholm Heat Networks and its operator, Stockholm Exergi, had to acquire valves for underground installation via a bidding process. The main challenge was to remain within the budget established with Stockholm municipality. It was vital for Exergi to receive the valves within the predetermined price range. The contract required a two-year price freeze specifically for this project.

While all producers acknowledged the potential risk, only we chose to proceed. Our decision ultimately paid off thanks to our use of the appropriate LD Economy, which allowed us to obtain materials at the same cost while producing valves that met the client's exact specifications. As a result, we delivered the valves as requested, free of any additional charges to the client.
